Engr. Abul KM Shamsuddin worked in the State Organization for the Distribution of Oil Products & Gas [SODOPAG] under Ministry of Oil, Govt. of Iraq, Baghdad as “Project Engineer” for a period of 2-years [1982-83] on deputation from Petrobangla under a contractual obligation with Ministry of Oil, Govt. of Iraq.
- Working Experiences in Iraq.
- While my posting place was in Baghdad, Capital city of Iraq, my working sites were in Karbala, Hilla, Kufa, Nazaf, Basra, Mosul and its adjoining areas.
- Primarily, I worked in the area of oil-distributions in Gas Filling Stations, Construction of Oil distribution lines, Construction of High Pressure LPG Vessels in Oil Refinery, etc. My working areas were virtually spreaded all over Iraq.
- In this connection, I visited no of Islamic Holy places & historical places along with my wife Rokeya Begum & 4-months old son Shamsul Arefin Shish.
- I appended photographs of major working & visiting areas.
